Had an amazing experience working with Olivia. She was incredibly knowledgeable and professional from start to finish, explained everything clearly, and truly took her time finding a good vein; which made the whole process comfortable and stress-free. You can tell she really cares about her clients and her work. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a great IV experience.

To the rescue!
Three of us in the family had IV therapy after the holidays, this was a great ‘pick me up’! For all of us. My mom also was in pain from aggravated arthritis, this morning she has nearly no pain! Hurray!!
Rachelle is so kind, her precision with needle sticks were spot on and hardly felt a pinch. We will be repeating therapies!

I just had the worst food poisoning of my life, I fought it out as long as I could but after about 9 hours I was just completely depleted, couldn't keep anything down, and had the worst stomach cramps ive ever experienced. I went to the urgent care right by my house in hopes of getting an iv because i just lost every nutrient in my body. I lost my faith in urgent care and all of humanity in about a 4 minute span in that lobby. My wife ended up calling this mobile iv nurse to come to the house, and this angel of a man named Gabriel came and not only gave me the iv but advise on other things I could do on an empty stomach to ease all the horrible symptoms I had. And I didnt even have to sell a kidney to pay for it! For what these people do, the price is fantastic! Gabriel, I hope all the luck in the world finds you my man!

I had the best experience getting the Performance IV from Brooke! From start to finish, she was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. She explained everything clearly, made me feel completely comfortable, and the whole process was seamless.

I walked out feeling recharged, refreshed, and ready for anything, exactly what I needed. The boost in energy and recovery was immediate and noticeable.

Brooke truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and it shows in every detail. If you’re considering IV therapy, she’s the one you want. Highly recommend!

Why Water Falls Short in Westminster, CO

Westminster sits at about 5,325 feet above sea level, sandwiched between Denver and Boulder along the US-36 corridor. The numbers that matter for hydration: annual precipitation averages around 17 inches, summer highs push into the upper 80s and low 90s, and July humidity hovers at roughly 46%. That combination means the body sheds moisture through breathing, sweating, and skin evaporation faster than flat-landers expect. Drinking more water covers part of the gap. It does not close it.

The digestive system absorbs a portion of each glass, but not all of it, and the process takes time. For someone running the Big Dry Creek Trail before work or kayaking Standley Lake’s 1,200 acres on a Saturday afternoon, the intake rarely keeps pace with the output. By mid-afternoon, the headache, the brain fog, and the dip in energy are not random. They are the body’s accounting.

How IV Hydration Changes the Math

Fluids, electrolytes, and vitamins enter the bloodstream through a peripheral IV line, bypassing the digestive system for direct absorption in a single session. The practical difference: what would take hours of steady water intake to partially replace, IV hydration for dehydration can address in 45–60 minutes.

This matters especially for altitude-related symptoms. Visitors arriving from sea level and residents returning from mountain weekends both hit the same wall: headaches, nausea, fatigue that a bottle of water won’t fix fast enough. IV infusion may help the body adjust by replenishing what the elevation strips away.

Matching the IV to the Lifestyle

Westminster’s outdoor culture runs year-round. 150+ miles of multi-use trails connect Standley Lake to Arvada and beyond. Winter brings cold, dry indoor heating that compounds the dehydration cycle. Summer brings heat and UV exposure on the same trails that felt easy in April. For athletes and active residents, a recovery IV after a long training block can support faster bounce-back than oral rehydration alone.

Mobile IV Nurses brings licensed nurses directly to your home, office, or hotel in Westminster. Frequently Asked Questions for Westminster IV Therapy

How does Westminster's dry climate affect the need for IV therapy?

The Front Range combination of elevation, low humidity, and minimal rainfall accelerates moisture loss through breathing and skin evaporation. Active residents who spend time on local trails or commute long distances may not replace fluids fast enough through drinking alone. IV hydration delivers fluids directly to the bloodstream, supporting faster rehydration than oral intake in these conditions.

What age do patients need to be to receive IV therapy?

Mobile IV Nurses serves patients ages 12 and older. Minors require a parent or legal guardian present during the entire session. The attending nurse reviews health history and vital signs before beginning any infusion, regardless of the patient’s age.

How quickly will I notice a difference after an IV session?

Many patients report feeling more alert and hydrated within 30–60 minutes of starting the infusion. Individual response varies based on baseline hydration, the specific IV formula selected, and overall health. Results are not guaranteed, and IV therapy is not a substitute for ongoing medical care. For a deeper look at what IV therapy involves, read this guide to IV therapy.

What goes into a typical IV drip bag?

Most IV packages start with a sterile saline solution (sodium chloride) as the hydration base. From there, formulas add vitamins (B-complex, B12, vitamin C), minerals (magnesium, zinc), amino acids, or specialty compounds like glutathione or NAD+ depending on the package. The nurse reviews each ingredient with the patient before the session begins.

Can I use my HSA or FSA card to pay for IV therapy?

Yes. Mobile IV Nurses accepts HSA and FSA cards alongside major credit and debit cards. Payment is collected at the time of service. The company does not bill insurance directly, but patients may submit receipts to their provider for potential reimbursement. For specifics on cold and flu IV treatment or other packages, check the pricing page.
