Dr. Nicholas Walter
About the author
Dr. Nicholas Walter directs the clinical side of Mobile IV Nurses and its team of 800+ licensed healthcare professionals across 14 states. He is board-certified in both Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.
His clinical background covers more than a decade of direct patient care, including a six-year tenure at Banner Health and his current telehealth work with Recuro Health. He has worked at both ends of the spectrum, hospital-based family medicine and remote patient care, and that shapes how he approaches oversight for a service that treats people wherever they are.
Dr. Walter is also Chief Medical Officer and Co-Owner of Mobile IV Medics, which puts him on the operational side of mobile IV care as well as the clinical one. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. His Family Medicine residency followed at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, then a Geriatrics Fellowship at the University of Arizona.

How Our Health Content Is Reviewed
Every health page on this site passes a physician review before it publishes: treatment pages, blog articles, service area pages.
Health writers with subject-matter expertise write the first version. Dr. Walter, board-certified in Family Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, reads it next. He checks clinical accuracy, confirms that health-related statements stay in appropriately qualified language, and weighs whether claims about ingredients, mechanisms, and potential outcomes hold up against medical evidence.
When relevant clinical guidance, supporting research, or regulatory requirements change, we revisit what we've already published.
