Had an amazing experience working with Olivia. She was incredibly knowledgeable and professional from start to finish, explained everything clearly, and truly took her time finding a good vein; which made the whole process comfortable and stress-free. You can tell she really cares about her clients and her work. I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a great IV experience.

To the rescue!
Three of us in the family had IV therapy after the holidays, this was a great ‘pick me up’! For all of us. My mom also was in pain from aggravated arthritis, this morning she has nearly no pain! Hurray!!
Rachelle is so kind, her precision with needle sticks were spot on and hardly felt a pinch. We will be repeating therapies!

I just had the worst food poisoning of my life, I fought it out as long as I could but after about 9 hours I was just completely depleted, couldn't keep anything down, and had the worst stomach cramps ive ever experienced. I went to the urgent care right by my house in hopes of getting an iv because i just lost every nutrient in my body. I lost my faith in urgent care and all of humanity in about a 4 minute span in that lobby. My wife ended up calling this mobile iv nurse to come to the house, and this angel of a man named Gabriel came and not only gave me the iv but advise on other things I could do on an empty stomach to ease all the horrible symptoms I had. And I didnt even have to sell a kidney to pay for it! For what these people do, the price is fantastic! Gabriel, I hope all the luck in the world finds you my man!

I had the best experience getting the Performance IV from Brooke! From start to finish, she was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. She explained everything clearly, made me feel completely comfortable, and the whole process was seamless.

I walked out feeling recharged, refreshed, and ready for anything, exactly what I needed. The boost in energy and recovery was immediate and noticeable.

Brooke truly goes above and beyond for her clients, and it shows in every detail. If you’re considering IV therapy, she’s the one you want. Highly recommend!

One of their owners, “Dr” Pam spews anti vax theories on her very public Facebook page. Not only is she not a medical doctor even though she uses her title to portray as one, she spreads false information. I’m not sure how we are supposed to trust this company to care for medical needs when they don’t believe in modern medicine.

Understanding Migraines: Causes, Triggers, and Stages

The exact cause of migraines is unknown. Possible factors include changes to brain chemical levels, environmental influences, or a family history of migraines. There are also several possible triggers behind migraine attacks:

  • Stress
  • Excessive caffeine or alcohol
  • Changes to estrogen levels in women
  • Sleep disorders
  • Dietary changes or exposure to additives in food
  • Weather fluctuations
  • And more!

There are typically four stages to a migraine attack. Prodrome signals the onset of an attack about a day or two in advance. Aura occurs right before or during a migraine and can cause light flashes or vision loss, a prickly sensation in the legs or arms, and an inability to speak clearly. The attack itself is when the pulsating headache starts, and it’s followed by the final postdromal stage.

People usually rely on migraine medicines to treat their symptoms, but IV therapy for migraines offers an innovative treatment alternative that can provide fast-acting relief since the medication and vitamins are infused directly into the bloodstream. IV hydration for migraines not only alleviates pain but also restores fluid balance to enhance overall wellness.

Optimal IV Treatments for Migraines

Many people turn to IV infusion therapy for headaches because they are effective and can relieve pain quickly. IVs can include an assortment of vitamins and minerals that address headache and migraine pain. A Myers’ Cocktail is an easy way to find the right IV for your migraine symptoms because it contains ingredients essential for migraine relief. This migraine IV cocktail is designed to deliver fast and effective relief directly to your bloodstream. It also helps reduce fatigue and elevate energy levels, both of which are welcome benefits for people who are struggling with headaches and migraines. This IV treatment for migraines includes:

Vitamin B Complex

This important group of vitamins can cut the duration and frequency of a migraine attack. The vitamins include B1, B2, B3, B5, and B6

Glutathione

This antioxidant helps reduce oxidative stress that can cause inflammation behind headaches and migraine attacks.
magnesium

Magnesium

This mineral is well known for helping with migraine relief and can be found in certain migraine medications. Magnesium is thought to be especially effective during the aura stage.

Vitamin C

Like glutathione, vitamin C has antioxidant properties that decrease the brain inflammation that makes headaches painful.
vitamin-c

Zinc

Studies show that adequate zinc levels in the body may help reduce the frequency of migraine headaches.
selenium

B12

As an essential vitamin, B12 plays a key role in red blood cell formation, cell metabolism, and DNA synthesis.

The Myers’ Cocktail, as well as other IV packages we offer at Mobile IV Nurses, can also be combined with medications to offer an even more powerful IV for migraines. The nourishing effect of saline and essential nutrients along with the powerful relief from pain medication can offer you the sort of migraine management you won’t find elsewhere.

Medications Used in IV Therapy for Migraines and Headaches

You can also add medications to your IV. Ketorolac (Toradol), a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), has a relatively rapid onset of action and is very effective for treating moderate to severe pain. Additionally, medications such as Ondansetron (Zofran) can be added to your IV if you suffer from nausea or vomiting during migraine attacks.

Many people who experience migraines already have a prescription for pain medications like these. If you have any questions about using prescription medicine in your IV therapy for migraines, call us to discuss your options.

IV Therapy for Migraines and Headaches Frequently Asked Questions

When you’re suffering from a bad migraine, you need relief as quickly as possible. This is one reason why IV infusion therapy for headaches is a great choice for your migraine treatment — it works almost instantly. Many of our patients report feeling fewer migraine symptoms within 30 minutes of starting treatment.

There are two reasons for this fast-acting relief. Firstly, your IV therapy allows your body to absorb the vitamins, minerals, and medication faster and in higher quantities than oral medication. Typical medication and supplements have to pass through your digestive system before they can take effect, but IV treatments for migraines get those vital ingredients directly into your system.

Secondly, your IV treatment contains more than just migraine medication. It’s also filled with important vitamins that will treat your migraine symptoms and improve your overall health. For example, the Myers’ Cocktail includes a vitamin B complex containing B2 (riboflavin), as well as magnesium. Both these nutrients have been found to reduce migraine symptoms.

Research suggests that IV treatments for migraines can help stave off migraine effects for up to one month. For many, this can be a game-changer: A once-monthly IV, and you’re migraine-free!

However, it is important to remember that everyone is different, and your relief may or may not last that long. We recommend that patients get IV therapy for migraines every two weeks, as nutrient levels in your body tend to deplete in that time frame. And of course, you can always schedule an appointment whenever you feel a migraine coming on.

At Mobile IV Nurses, we offer two different medications for migraine relief: Ketorolac (Toradol), which treats moderate to severe pain, and Ondansetron (Zofran), which treats nausea. While both these medications are safe and widely used for people with migraines and other issues, it is important to be aware of possible side effects.

If you use Toradol in your IV, alert your nurse if you start to experience any of the following:

  • Indigestion
  • Drowsiness
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Stomach cramps
  • Reactions at the injection site

If you use Zofran in your IV, tell your nurse if you experience side effects like:

  • Fever
  • Lightheadedness
  • Dizziness
  • Drowsiness
  • Constipation
  • Reactions at the injection site

In many cases, these symptoms will subside as your body receives the other nutrients in your IV. However, your nurses will always monitor you to ensure your safety throughout the infusion process.

Mobile IV Nurses has a wide service area across multiple states, including Arizona, Deleware, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Utah.
